Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 Ekim 2026
Let's Talkin' is a social platform for TV show and movie fans. This policy explains in plain language what data we collect and why, how we protect it, and what you can decide. For detailed information under KVKK (Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data), see the Privacy Notice (KVKK); for browser storage, see the Cookie Policy.
What we collect
- What you give us: Email, username, date of birth, profile information, the content you post and the messages you send.
- What is created while you use the Service: Your interactions such as likes, comments, votes and follows; your watchlists; your settings; device, browser and error information.
- What we don't collect: Location, contacts, advertising ID. We do not do cross-app or cross-site ad tracking; for this reason, we do not ask for tracking permission on iOS.
How we use it
- To run the Service: feed, rooms, messages, store, quizzes, recommendations
- To rank the feed according to your interests. Explore and clip ranking takes into account the engagement content receives, how recent it is, and the shows on your watchlist; content from the same person is not shown back to back.
- To send the notifications you choose. You can turn off each notification type separately and set quiet hours.
- Security: detecting spam, harassment and fake accounts
- If you consent: sending campaign and product update emails
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertising networks. Data is shared only to the extent necessary with the infrastructure, email, notification and sign-in providers we work with to run the Service. When you use the AI-powered recommendation and assistant features, the text you write is sent to the service that provides that feature. The detailed list is in the Privacy Notice (KVKK). Where legally required, data may be shared with competent authorities within the framework of the law.
What is public
- Your profile and posts are visible to other users unless you make your account private.
- If your account is public, your show reviews and posts may be shown on public show and episode pages, together with your username and profile photo, to visitors who are not signed in and to search engines. Posts marked as spoilers are never shown. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Show on the web and in search; posts from private accounts are never shown in the first place. After you turn it off, old copies in search engines are removed according to the search engines' own update schedules.
- Direct messages are visible only to the participants in the conversation.
You're in control
- Private account: No one can see your posts unless you approve their follow request.
- Show on the web and in search: Turn on or off whether your public account's posts are shown on public show/episode pages
- Notifications: On/off by type, and quiet hours
- Spoiler sensitivity: Hide conversations about episodes you haven't watched
- Blocking and muting: Per person
- Download My Data: A copy of your data (from Settings)
- Delete Account: Permanent deletion with a 30-day recovery period (from Settings)
Children's privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. Date of birth is requested at registration, and registrations from users under 13 are not accepted. If you become aware that a child under 13 has opened an account, please report it to [KVKK başvuru e-postası — yayından önce eklenecek]; the account will be closed and the data deleted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS. Passwords are stored irreversibly (hashed). Access is limited to authorized persons who need it for their duties. No system is 100% secure; if you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to [İletişim e-postası — yayından önce eklenecek].
Changes
When we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you within the Service and update the date on this page.
