Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the rules for using the Let's Talkin' website and mobile app (the "Service") provided by the founders of Let's Talkin' ("Let's Talkin'", "we"). Let's Talkin' has not yet been incorporated as a company; the Service is built and run jointly by its two founders. By signing up for or using the Service, you declare that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, do not use the Service.

How your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Notice (KVKK), the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy; the rules of conduct within the community are explained in the Community Guidelines. The Community Guidelines are an integral part of these Terms.

1. What is the Service?

Let's Talkin' is a social platform where TV show and movie fans share posts, reviews, ratings, polls, quotes and short videos, and talk about episodes together in chat rooms. The Service also provides information about titles and personal recommendations.

Let's Talkin' is not a viewing (streaming) service. Shows or movies cannot be watched or downloaded through the Service; the Service does not host pirated content and does not allow links to such content. Information about where a title can be watched shows platforms that legally operate in Turkey and directs you to those platforms. Your relationship with these platforms (membership, fees, access to content) is entirely subject to that platform's own terms.

2. Account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to sign up for the Service. If you are under 18, you must use the Service with the knowledge of your parent or guardian.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide at registration is accurate and up to date, and for keeping your password confidential. If you notice any unauthorized activity on your account, notify us immediately.
  • Usernames are unique. Usernames that impersonate another person, brand or organization, or that are misleading, may be changed or closed.
  • You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. After a deletion request, a 30-day recovery period applies; at the end of this period, your account and content are permanently deleted (except records that must be retained by law).

3. Content you post

  • You own the text, images, videos and other content you post ("User Content"), and you are responsible for it.
  • By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide and royalty-free license to display, host, technically reproduce, adapt the format of (e.g. image resizing) and use this content to promote the Service within the Service. This license ends within a reasonable period when you delete the content or your account is deleted.
  • You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the content you post. Short excerpts from shows and movies (images, short scenes, lines) may only be shared for commentary, criticism and discussion, and to a limited extent; sharing an entire episode or movie, or a substantial part of it, is prohibited.
  • Posts containing spoilers must be marked with the Service's spoiler marker.

4. Prohibited uses

When using the Service, you may not:

  • Link to pirated streaming, download or sharing sites, or share such content
  • Infringe the copyright, trademark or personality rights of others
  • Post content that contains harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or incitement to violence
  • Post obscene content or any content relating to child abuse
  • Send spam, bulk or automated messages; generate fake engagement (likes, followers); circumvent the rules using multiple accounts
  • Use the Service without permission through bots, scrapers or similar automated tools, or attempt to bypass security measures
  • Share other people's personal data without permission
  • Engage in any activity contrary to the laws of the Republic of Turkey

5. Moderation and reports

  • We may remove content that we consider to violate the rules or limit its visibility, and we may apply temporary or permanent restrictions to your account. In the case of serious or repeated violations, the account will be closed.
  • You can notify us using the Report option available on every post, comment, message and profile.
  • Copyright notices: For content you believe infringes your rights, you can contact info@letstalkin.com with information showing that you are the rights holder and a link to the content. Notices under Law No. 5651 and Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works are reviewed within the time limits set by law.

6. Virtual items (stickers and balance)

  • Stickers and the in-app balance within the Service are virtual items; they are not real money, cannot be converted into real money and cannot be transferred outside the Service.
  • Virtual items may be revoked in cases of abuse such as cheating, multiple accounts or manipulation. When an account is deleted, its virtual items end permanently.
  • If a feature for purchasing with real money is offered, the purchase terms and your rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection will be communicated separately.

7. Recommendations and third-party information

  • Title information and images are provided by TMDB, and "where to watch" information for Turkey is provided from data sourced from JustWatch. The timeliness and accuracy of this information are not guaranteed; a platform's catalog may have changed.
  • "What should I watch?" and similar recommendations are generated automatically based on your answers (in some cases with the help of AI) and are recommendations only.
  • We are not responsible for links to third-party sites (e.g. streaming platforms) in the Service or for the content of those sites.

8. Limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to provide the Service without interruption or errors; however, the Service is provided "as is". The user who posts User Content is responsible for it. Liabilities that cannot be limited by law and your rights under consumer legislation are reserved.

9. Changes and termination

  • We may update these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes within the Service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means that you accept the updated Terms.
  • You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to close accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate the Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Merkez) have jurisdiction over disputes. Where you act as a consumer, your right under Law No. 6502 to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts in your place of residence is reserved.
